Our journey began in the bustling streets of Manama, Bahrain in 2016. Fate would later bring us together on a volunteer mission in Uganda. Little did we know that our friendship would ignite a fire within us to tackle the root causes of poverty and inequality.

 

Witnessing firsthand the harsh realities faced by disadvantaged children in Uganda and around the world, we knew we had to take action. Thus, MCCF was born, a testament to the power of friendship, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to paving the way for a brighter future.

 

At the heart of MCCF’s mission is the belief that education is a fundamental human right that every child deserves. We are on a mission to ensure that this right is upheld for every child in Uganda who doesn’t have the opportunity to go to school. Through our programs and initiatives, we are working to provide access to quality education, mentorship, and support to vulnerable children in remote, underserved rural communities.

 

We understand that true change cannot happen without addressing the systemic issues that perpetuate poverty and hinder progress. We are empowering the youth to become agents of change in their own communities.

 

We are now fully invested in two rural communities about a hundred kilometers southwest of Kampala.

 

We organized our first event there in September 2023, during which we met around a hundred children and their families, many of them orphans, around a large meal and fun activity workshops. We brought them school materials, clothes, shoes, as well as food and hygiene products.

 

Since then, we have managed to place 44 children in school. Our goal for 2028 is to build our own school, where the most vulnerable children can go for free.

 

 

Our operations are carried out in the field, in difficult conditions. The areas where we work are remote and the roads are almost impassable, especially during the rainy season. We need resources to operate safely and grow.

 

We take safety very seriously, and move forward with the well-being and development of these children as a priority.

 

The identities of the children and the names of the establishments where they are educated will only be communicated to our contributors in the event of recurring sponsorship, renewable from year to year. If you wish to sponsor a child for an entire year, contact us, you will have the opportunity to get to know him/her, send him/her audio/video messages, and will also have access to the child's academic results and his progress throughout his journey.
